Mirziyoev to Japan on December 17 - 20, 2019, further strengthening of comprehensive mutually beneficial relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Japan and also the Cabinet of Ministers DECIDES: liberalizations of the operating visa-free regime of entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan for citizens of Japan

1. Take into consideration that between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Uzbekistan exchange of the notes providing introduction since March 1, 2020 on the parity basis of visa-free regime for citizens of two countries - owners diplomatic or official is performed (for citizens of Japan) passports.

2. Establish since March 1, 2020 on the parity basis visa-free regime of entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan for citizens of Japan - owners of the diplomatic and official passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan:

for the term of their stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan, connected with implementation of diplomatic or consular activities, and also accomplishment of tasks of the Government of Japan, including members of their families (the spouses/spouse and minor children) which are constantly living together with them;

up to 90 days - for driving to the Republic of Uzbekistan in other purposes which are not provided in the paragraph the second this Item.

3. Determine that the visa-free regime, the stipulated in Item 2 presents of the resolution, does not extend to the citizens of Japan driving to the Republic of Uzbekistan for implementation of labor, professional or other activity (including tourism and the rewarded sporting events) or to the permanent residence.

4. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to request samples of diplomatic, official and all-civil passports of Japan, including their detailed description and protective elements in a month.
