Article 1. The moratorium on provision of nationality of the Republic of Moldova on the conditions provided by parts (1-1) and (1-2) article 17 of the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024/2000

Establish the moratorium till September 1, 2020 on acceptance of new statements on provision of nationality of the Republic of Moldova on the conditions provided by parts (1-1) and (1-2) articles 17 of the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024/2000.

Article 2. Final provisions

(1) the statements Submitted before the date of entry into force of this law on provision of nationality of the Republic of Moldova on the conditions provided by parts (1-1) and (1-2) articles 17 of the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024/2000, are considered in the procedure established by the Government.

(2) Effective period of agreements of the agents accredited within the Program of acquisition of nationality by means of the investments signed for 2019 according to subitem conditions 12) of Item 20 and subitem 2-2) of Item 23 of the Regulations on acquisition of the nationality by means of investments approved by the Order of the Government No. 786/2017, is prolonged for the period equal to moratorium effective period, without collection payment, stipulated in Item 4 appendices 3 to the Order of the Government No. 786/2017 for the corresponding months.

(3) This law becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
