About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About protection of the population against infectious diseases" concerning prevention of spread of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19)

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About protection of the population against infectious diseases" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 29, Art. 228; 2003, No. 38, Art. 321; 2014, Art. No. 2-3, 41) following changes:

1. In Article 1:

the thirteenth and fourteenth to state paragraphs in the following edition:

"self-isolation - stay of person concerning which there are reasonable bases concerning risk of infection or spread of infectious disease by it, in the place (room) determined by it for the purpose of observance of anti-epidemic actions on the basis of the obligation of person;

the observator - the specialized agency intended for stay of persons which are subject to observation, their inspection and implementation of medical supervision of them";

add with the paragraph the twenty ninth the following content:

"observation - stay of person concerning which there is risk of spread of infectious disease, in the observator for the purpose of its inspection and implementation of medical supervision of it".

2. The first offer of part four of Article 29 to add with words "the bases and procedure for obligatory self-isolation, stay of person in the observator (observation), hospitalization in the temporary healthcare institutions (specialized hospital)".

3. In Article 30:

word in paragraph four of "entrance on the territory of quarantine and departure from it" shall be replaced with words "entrance, departure in the territory of quarantine and separate administrative and territorial units";

word in paragraph seven "entrances and departures from the territory" shall be replaced with words "entrances, departures in the territory of quarantine and separate administrative and territorial units which are in the territory of quarantine".

4. State Article 31 in the following edition:

"Article 31. The observators, temporary healthcare institutions (specialized hospital)
