The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
1. Item 20-5 of the Section XI "Transitional provisions" of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (2013, 88) to state sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Art. No. No. 9-13, in the following edition:
"20-5. Temporarily, for action of the quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the purpose of prevention of distribution in the territory of Ukraine of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19), to establish the following features of judicial control of observance of the rights, freedoms and interests of persons in criminal trials and to consideration of single questions during judicial proceedings.
Consideration of questions which are carried to powers of the investigative judge (except consideration of petitions for provision of permission to carrying out secret investigative (search) actions and claims to decisions, actions or divergence of the investigator or prosecutor during pre-judicial investigation) and single questions during judicial proceedings is performed taking into account the features determined by this Item.
In case of impossibility to determine the investigative judge in the relevant court (except the Supreme anti-corruption court) the local court brings motivated idea of transfer of the petition which shall be considered by the investigative judge, for consideration in other court within jurisdiction of one Appeal Court or in other court within jurisdiction of different Appeal Courts.
