About modification and amendments in the Law "About Television and Radio"

Article 1. In article 26 of the Law of October 9, 2000 ZR-97 "About television and radio" (further - the Law):

Part 4 to state 1) in the following edition:

"4. On public television within one radio hour will be permitted to show advertizing lasting up to 5 minutes, and also during display of cultural, educational, scientific and educational and sports telecasts - to specify the information about sponsors (sponsoring) according to this Law.".

To add 2) with part 4.1 following of content:

"4.1. The temporary restriction established by this Law for broadcast of advertizing per public television does not extend to cases of specifying of information about sponsors (sponsoring) according to this law during display of cultural, educational, scientific and educational and sports telecasts. Mentioning of information about the sponsor during display of cultural, educational, scientific and educational and sports telecasts shall not exceed 2,5 of percent of general duration of this transfer.";

To add 3) with part 4.2 following of content:

"4.2. On public television it is allowed to show social advertizing according to the procedure, established by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About advertizing". During the period from 00:00 till 18:00 social advertizing is broadcast on a grant basis. During the period from 18:00 till 00:00 social advertizing is broadcast on paid basis according to the procedure, established by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About advertizing".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
