About introduction of amendments to article 39 of the Law of Ukraine "About protection of the population against infectious diseases" rather additional guarantees of the rights of the health and other workers occupied in the field of protection of the population against infectious diseases, and members of their families

I. Article 39 of the Law of Ukraine "About protection of the population against infectious diseases" (2000, No. 29, the Art. 228) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with parts two - the seventh the following content:

"The state provides insurance payments in the following sizes to health workers of the state and utility institutions of health care:

1) in case of establishment of group of the disability within one calendar year which came owing to disease of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19) provided that such disease is connected with execution of professional obligations in the conditions of the increased risk of infection - depending on the established worker of group of disability and extent of loss of professional working capacity, but is at least 300-fold size of the subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons for January 1 of calendar year;

2) in case of the death of the worker - in 750-fold size of the subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons for January 1 of calendar year.

The size and procedure of insurance payments, stipulated in Item 1 parts two of this Article, are determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In case of approach of circumstances, stipulated in Item 1 part two of this Article, insurance payment is appointed and paid to the worker within one month from the date of emergence of the right to insurance payment.

In case of approach of circumstances, stipulated in Item 2 parts two of this Article, insurance payment it is appointed and paid one-time and in equal parts to family members, parents and dependents of the died worker within one month from the date of emergence of the right to insurance payment. Family members and parents of the died worker are determined according to the Family code of Ukraine.
