About modification and amendments in the Law "About Energy Saving and Renewable Power"

Article 1. In article 8 of the Law of November 9, 2004 No. ZR-122 "About energy saving and renewable power":

Part 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. Requirements to energy efficiency, the procedure for labeling and form of the label of energy-requiring devices and devices are established by the order of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.";

To add 2) with part 3 following of content:

"3. The energy-requiring products acquired for the purpose of ensuring the state needs shall provide the established requirements of energy efficiency. The list of groups of these products, mandatory requirements to energy characteristics establishes the Government of the Republic of Armenia according to provisions of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About purchases".".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
