About entering of amendment into the Instructions for use electrical energy approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of January 12, 2018 No. 22

For the purpose of extended coverage of questions of rational use by electrical energy and increases in energy efficiency of industries of economy the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. To add the instructions for use electrical energy approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of January 12, 2018 No. 22, with Item 63-1 of the following content:

"63-1. Consumers, irrespective of the attached capacity, performing the activities connected with turnover of cryptoassets including mining (activities for maintenance and creation of new blocks with opportunity to earn reward in format of new units and sales charges in different cryptocurrencies), perform payment for the consumed electrical energy using the raising coefficient in the amount of 3 to the established rate of the corresponding tariff group".

2. To provide to Department of Energy together with the Ministry of development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan in two-month time development of procedure for determination of the consumers of electrical energy performing the activities connected with turnover of cryptoassets and mining, and also application to them the raising coefficient in the amount of 3 to the established rate of the corresponding tariff group and approval it in accordance with the established procedure.

3. This resolution becomes effective after three months from the date of its official publication.

4. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. S. Sultanov.
