for the purpose of development of cooperation in fight against economic and financial crimes, including in bank and credit and financial spheres, and also strengthenings of interaction on counteraction of legalization (washing) of income gained in the criminal way

understanding all gravity of the effects connected with causing damage of economic safety of the states of the Parties

in view of provisions of the Convention of the United Nations against corruption of October 31, 2003, the Convention on legal assistance and legal relations on civil, family and criminal cases of October 7, 2002, the Vienna convention of the United Nations "About the right of international treaties" of May 23, 1969, the Agreement on cooperation of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in fight against tax offenses of June 3, 2005, and also the Agreement on cooperation in fight against crimes in the field of economy of April 12, 1996,

proceeding from mutual interest in acceptance of the effective measures directed to fight against crimes in the field of economy and finance

being guided by the national legal system and the international obligations of the states, agreed as follows:

Article 1

1. Subject of this agreement is the cooperation of the Parties for the purpose of the organization of effective counteraction to economic and financial crimes.

2. The legal assistance on criminal cases will be performed within the international treaties ratified by the Parties.

Article 2

1. The parties within the competence provide protection of the rights, freedoms, legitimate interests and property of citizens and legal entities of the state of other Party on an equal basis with citizens and legal entities of the state.
