Article 1. Bring in article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About state registration of acts of civil status" of April 29, 2006 (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2006, No. 4, Art. 201; 2008, No. 12, h 2, Art. 1017; 2009, No. 3, Art. 89; 2011, No. 3, Art. 178, No. 6, Art. 444; 2015, No. 3, Art. 220, No. 11, Art. 961, Art. 962; 2016, No. 3, Art. 144, Art. 145; 2017, No. 7-9, of Art. 574; 2019, No. 7, Art. 470) following changes and amendments;

- to add part 3 after words of "the father's middle name" with the words "without use of suffixes-ов,-ova,-ев,-Eve according to part 4 of this Article";

- to exclude from part 4 of the word "on behalf of the father, middle name of the father or from root of its surname" and after suffix "-headlights" to add with sign and suffixes ", - Pur, - духт";

- state part 6 in the following edition:

"6. The middle name is formed with addition of the forming suffixes - зод, - zoda, - ER, - ниё, - headlights, - Pur, - духт or without addition of the specified suffixes. Use of suffixes - the aries, - evna, - ович, - евич is forbidden in case of formation of middle name.";

- add with part 12 of the following content:

"12. If the father and mother of different nationalities, the surname of the child registers with the consent of the father and mother by last name the father or mother according to part 11 of this Article.".
