About modification of part the fourth Civil code of the Russian Federation

Article 1

Bring in part the fourth the Civil code of the Russian Federation (The Russian Federation Code, 2006, No. 52, Art. 5496; 2013, No. 30, Art. 4055; 2014, No. 11, Art. 1100; 2019, No. 30, Art. 4132) following changes:

1) in Item 3 of Article 1246:

a) after the words "on intellectual property" to add with the words "directly or through organization subordinated to it", "Item" to replace the word with the word "paragraph";

b) add with paragraphs of the following content:

"The federal executive body on intellectual property will accredit the Russian scientific or educational organization as the organization which can carry out preliminary information search concerning the declared inventions or useful models and provisional estimate of their patentability (Article 1384, 1386 and 1390) (further - the scientific or educational organization).

The procedure for accreditation of the scientific or educational organization and the requirement to it, and also the bases and procedure for the termination of its accreditation are established by the Government of the Russian Federation.";

2) in Item 1 of Article 1366:

a) the paragraph one after the words "are not levied" to add with the words "for making of legally significant actions which list is established by the Government of the Russian Federation";

b) add with the paragraph of the following content:

"The number of the requests submitted within year one applicant concerning which in case of submission of the specified statement it is exempted from payment of the patent fees provided by this Code is established by the Government of the Russian Federation.";
