About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning enhancement of conditions of support of production of electricity from alternative energy sources

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About the mode of foreign investment" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1996, No. 19, Art. 80; 2000, No. 38, Art. 318):

Article 7 to add 1) with part four of the following content:

"By the laws of Ukraine for business entities which perform investment projects in the fields of managing determined by the law with attraction of foreign investments additional state guarantees of protection of foreign investments, including guarantees of protection of investments against change of the legislation provided by this Law can be established";

Article 8 to state 2) in the following edition:

"Article 8. Guarantees in case of change of the legislation

If further the special legislation of Ukraine about foreign investments or the laws of Ukraine which provide the state guarantees the guarantees of protection of foreign investments specified in the Section II of this Law change or in the laws of Ukraine which provide the state guarantees then within 10 years from the date of entry into force of such legislation upon the demand of the foreign investor the state guarantees of protection of foreign investments provided by this Law or other laws of Ukraine which provide such state guarantees are applied. The state guarantees of protection of foreign investments connected using "green" rate are applied on all effective period of "green" rate.
