About entering of amendment into the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 with Article 169.2 of the following content:

"Article 169.2. Inducement or coercion to refusal of the parent rights

1. Inducement or compulsion of person to refusal of the parent rights by appeal, deception, confidence abuse or use of vulnerability of situation, use of violence, harmless for life or health, or by threat of use of violence or otherwise:

it is punished by penalty from two hundredfold to the five hundredfold size of minimum wage or arrest no more than three months or imprisonment from one to four years.

2. Same act, committed:

1) medic;

2) using violence, life-threatening or health, or with threat of its application;

3) with use of official capacity;

4) group of persons by previous concert;

5) from mercenary motives,

it is punished by imprisonment from two to five years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities no more than three years or without it.

3. The acts provided by part 1 or 2 of this Article, which:

1) are made by organized group;

2) on imprudence was entailed by the death of the victim or serious consequences:

are punished by imprisonment from four to eight years with confiscation of property or without it, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities no more than three years or without it.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
