About the organization and implementation of professional activity of the veterinarian
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
(This law establishes 1) and regulates organizational conditions and forms of implementation of professional activity of the veterinarian, and also creation, the organization of activities and functioning of Board of veterinarians of the Republic of Moldova (further - Board).
(2) Provisions of this law are not applied to the veterinarians appointed to the state positions in the state veterinary public health services.
For the purpose of application of this law the following concepts are determined:
the veterinarian - any person who is the citizen of the Republic of Moldova, the foreign citizen or the stateless person, having the diploma about the integrated higher education in the field of veterinary medicine issued by higher educational institution of the Republic of Moldova or the education document received abroad which is recognized and which equivalence is officially established in the Republic of Moldova;
the full-fledged member - the full member of Board;
not full-fledged member - the member of Board whose right of implementation of professional activity of the veterinarian is suspended;
The list of veterinarians - the list in which data on veterinarians, and also information on the professional activity performed by them are entered.
The basic principles of implementation of professional activity of the veterinarian are:
a) the principle of legality - when implementing the professional activity the veterinarian shall observe the Constitution and other regulations published by bodies of the public power;
b) the principle of equality - when implementing professional activity veterinarians are equal from the point of view of the rights, obligations and guarantees provided by this law;
