About modification of article 17 of the Law of Ukraine "About environmental impact assessment" concerning prevention of origin and spread of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19)

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Article 17 of the Law of Ukraine "About environmental impact assessment" (2017, No. 29, the Art. 315) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with Item 2-1 of the following content:

"2-1. Temporarily, for action and within the territory of the quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the purpose of prevention of distribution in the territory of Ukraine of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19), before its complete cancellation and within 30 days from the date of cancellation of quarantine, public discussion of the planned activities is carried out in the form of provision of written notes and offers (including in electronic form), about what it is specified in the announcement of the beginning of public discussion of the report on environmental impact assessment and in the report on public discussion. During this period public hearings, the stipulated in Article 7 these Laws, are not carried out and for dates which fall on this period, are not appointed. The planned public hearings which date falls on this period are considered cancelled, and repeatedly are not carried out".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
