About cultivation of nut plantations in the Kyrgyz Republic

1. This Law regulates the activities connected with cultivation of nut plantations on the lands which are out of the territory of the state forest fund including with use of nut fruits, wood, production and sale of nut products, purchase, procurement, production of products, the cabin and cultivation of landing material.
2. In this Law the concept "nut plantation" includes the cultivation of nuciferous cultures directed to receipt of high-yield crops of the premium.
Preserving, development and growth of potential production of nut plantations are regulated by the authorized bodies determined by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Accounting and quality evaluation of nut plantations are performed by state bodies in spheres of agricultural industry, forestry and local government bodies according to the procedure, determined by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The main activities of state bodies and local government bodies according to the powers approved by the legislation in the field of cultivation of nut plantations are:
1) preserving, increase and rational use of the existing natural plantings of the nut and fruit woods by taking measures to creation of nut plantations on the lands which are out of the territory of the state forest fund;
2) collection and conversion of nut fruits on the created nut plantations, production of high-quality products, improvement of its quality and increase in competitiveness in the foreign market;
3) implementation in production of innovative technologies and information support of producers;
