About modification and amendments in the Law of Turkmenistan "About public associations"

I. Bring in the Law of Turkmenistan "About public associations", adopted on May 3, 2014 (Sheets of Majlis of Turkmenistan, 2014, No. 2, Art. 70; 2017, No. 1, Art. 15), following changes and amendments:

Part one of Article 7 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. Creation and activities of the public associations which are aiming at violent change of the constitutional system of Turkmenistan, allowing violence in the activities, opposing constitutional rights and freedoms of the citizens propagandizing war, hostility on the basis of skin color, race, religious strife, encroaching on health and morality of citizens are prohibited.";

2) in Article 9:

the second to add part with the paragraph of the following content:

"The international public association can be created in the presence of at least 50 founders.";

third to state part in the following edition:

"3. National public associations can be created in the presence of at least 50 founders, and their activities according to the authorized purposes extend to all territory of Turkmenistan.";

the fourth to exclude part;

the fifth to consider part part four and to state in the following edition:

"4. Associations which activities according to their authorized purposes extend to the territory of several administrative and territorial units of Turkmenistan belong to territorial public associations.";

the sixth to consider part part five;

add with part of the following content:

"6. Territorial and local public associations can be created in the presence of at least than five founders.";

3) in Article 11:

at the beginning of part one to add with paragraphs of the following content:

"Founders of public association are persons who convened congress (conference) or the general meeting which accepted the resolution on creation of public association, on approval of its charter, formation of the leading and control and auditing bodies.
