About control of use and protection of lands

Article 1. Subject of regulation of the Law

This Law establishes tasks, forms of control of effective use and protection of lands, by execution of requirements of the land legislation, the bodies exercising control, the rights and obligations of the checking and checked faces, procedures of checks.

Article 2. Law coverage

Operation of this Law extends to use and protection of all parcels of land which are available in land fund of the Republic of Armenia irrespective of their target value, persons of law of property and (or) use.

Article 3. Tasks of control of use and protection of lands

Enter tasks of control of use and protection of lands:

1) ensuring accomplishment by subjects of land relations of requirements of the land legislation;

2) ensuring compliance by land users the established law and other regulatory legal acts of requirements to use and protection of lands, restrictions, obligatory servitudes, regulations, rules, standard rates;

3) ensuring target use of land fund according to land management, town-planning program documents, schemes of zoning and use of lands, master plans of settlements;

4) ensuring prevention of unauthorized use and capture of the parcels of land of the state-owned and municipal property;

5) ensuring implementation of republican and territorial programs in the field of management of land resources;

6) ensuring collection of lease payments for use of the parcels of land of the state-owned and municipal property;

7) ensuring collection of the land tax;

8) ensuring compliance with borders of the parcels of land, geodetic and other special information signs;

9) ensuring preserving and use of fertile layer of earth when implementing the works connected with violation of lands;
