About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About scientific and scientific and technical activities" concerning refining of some provisions

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About scientific and scientific and technical activities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2016, No. 3, the Art. 25) the following changes:

1. In Article 1:

state Items 7 and 11 in the following edition:

"7) the doctoral candidate - the scientist who has training in doctoral studies of scientific institution (institution of higher education) for receipt of academic degree of the doctor of science";

"11) the young scientist - the scientist aged up to 35 years inclusive having the higher education not below the second (master) level or the scientist aged up to 40 years inclusive which has scientific doctor's degree";

"applied scientific" to add Item 29 after words with the word of "researches".

2. The fifth articles 6 after paragraph two to add part with the new paragraph of such content:

"In case of impossibility of ensuring carrying out scientific research by the available staff employees according to the decision of the scientist (scientific, scientific and technical, technical) council of the public scientific institution (institution of higher education) vacant positions of research associates of this scientific institution (institution of higher education) can be replaced with scientists of the qualification corresponding to these positions according to terminal employment contracts before carrying out competitive substitution of these positions, but no more than for six months".
