ORDER OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

"1.7.

 Juglans L wood. and Pterocarya Kunth irrespective of, it is included or not in codes commodity line items of appendix No. 4 to the Order of the Government No. 356/2012, except for wood in type:

- shavings, particles, sawdust, the wood spills, wood waste and remaining balance fully or partially received from such plants;

- wood packaging material in the form of cartridges, boxes, boxes, drums and other similar container, pallets, boxing pallets and other loading platforms, lattices for pallets, fixing material and devices irrespective of they are used actually or not when transporting objects of any type, except the fixing materials used for support of wood loads, and made of wood of the same type and quality as the transported wood and which conform to the phytosanitary requirements of the Union imposed to the transported wood;

including wood which did not keep the natural rounded surface coming from the USA

Without prejudice to the provisions applied to wood, specified in line items 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 of the Section 1, the official declaration that wood is submitted:

a) there is from zone, acknowledged free from  Geosmithia morbida Kolarik, Freeland, Utley & Tisserat and its carrier,  Pityophthorus juglandis Blackman confirmed with the national organization for protection of plants according to the International standard on phytosanitary measures No. 15 "Management on regulation of use of wood packaging materials in international trade" (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2005, Art. No. 30-33, 109) (further – the International standard on phytosanitary measures No. 15) that is specified in the phytosanitary certificate in the heading "Additional Declaration",

or

b) it was subjected to adequate thermal treatment for achievement of the minimum temperature of 56 °C within at least 40 minutes continuously on all thickness of wood. This processing shall prove to be true by drawing marking of "HT" on wood or on its packaging according to the acting practicians, the International standard on phytosanitary measures No. 15, that is specified in the phytosanitary certificate in the heading "Additional Declaration";

or

c) there was kantovana for complete removal of the natural rounded surface

1.8.

The isolated bark and Juglans L wood. and Pterocarya Kunth irrespective of, it is included or not in codes of goods item of appendix No. 4 to the Order of the Government No. 356/2012, in type:

- shavings, the particles, sawdust, wood spills, wood waste and remaining balance fully or partially received from such plants coming from the USA

Without prejudice to the provisions specified in line items 1.7, 2.3 and 2.4 of the Section 1, the official declaration, confirmatory is submitted that wood or the isolated bark:

a) there is from zone, acknowledged free from  Geosmithia morbida Kolarik, Freeland, Utley & Tisserat and its carrier,  Pityophthorus juglandis Blackman confirmed with the national organization for protection of plants according to the International standard on phytosanitary measures No. 15, that is specified in the phytosanitary certificate in the heading "Additional Declaration";

or

b) it was subjected to the corresponding thermal treatment for achievement of temperature at least 56 °C within at least 40 minutes continuously on all thickness of wood that is specified in the phytosanitary certificate";
