About enhancement of public administration in the field of digital development, communication and mass communications
For the purpose of enhancement of public administration in the field of digital development, communication and mass communications, solutions of priority tasks in the field of digital economy, reducing administrative barriers, optimizations of powers of federal executive bodies and number of federal government civil servants I decide:
1. Abolish Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and Federal Communications Agency.
2. Transfer to the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation functions of the abolished Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and Federal Communications Agency.
3. Determine that the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation is legal successor of the abolished Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and Federal Communications Agency, including according to the obligations which resulted from execution of judgments.
4. Ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of 11.05.2024 No. 326
5. To the government of the Russian Federation:
a) provide in the terms established by the legislation of the Russian Federation holding liquidating procedures in connection with abolition of Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and Federal Communications Agency;
b) determine the number of federal government civil servants of the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation in connection with transfer of functions of the abolished Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and Federal Communications Agency to it;
c) provide continuity of implementation of the abolished Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and Federal Communications Agency transferred to the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation of functions;
