About introduction of amendments to article 2 of the Law on additional social protection of some categories of the population No. 121/2001

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In part (1) article 2 of the Law on additional social protection of some categories of the population No. 121/2001 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, No. 51, of the Art. 280), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

in Item 1-1) of figure "700", "550" and "475" to replace respectively with figures "800", "650" and "575";

Item 2) after words" (from September 8, 1941 to January 27, 1944)," to add with words to "persons which were involved by municipal authorities in collection of ammunition and military equipment, in mine clearing of the territory and objects in the years of World War II";

in Item 6) to replace figures "175" with figures "275";

Art. II. - (1) This law becomes effective since January 1, 2021.

(2) to the Government in four-months time from the date of publication of this law in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to bring the regulations into accord with it.

(3) to National cash desk of social insurance to give the sizes of the monthly public welfare payments established before entry into force of this law for categories of persons specified in article I in compliance with the sizes which are subject to application since January 1, 2021.
