About introduction of amendments to the Federal law "About Library Science" regarding enhancement of procedure for the state accounting of book monuments

Article 1

Bring in the Federal Law of December 29, 1994 No. 78-FZ "About library science" (The Russian Federation Code, 1995, No. 1, Art. 2; 2004, No. 35, Art. 3607; 2009, No. 23, Art. 2774; 2013, No. 27, Art. 3477; 2016, No. 27, Art. 4275) following changes:

1) in paragraph ten of Article 1 of the word "books or printing editions" shall be replaced with words "books, printing editions, other documents";

"The paragraph the second Item 2 of Article 16.1" shall be replaced with words 2) in item 4 of Article 6 of the word "the paragraph the second Item 3 of Article 16.1";

1. Book monuments are especially valuable part of national library stock.

Book monuments are subdivided into single book monuments and book monuments - collections which are set of the documents acquiring properties of book monument only in case of their connection together owing to the origin, specific relationship or on other signs.

2. Treat book monuments:

1) all hand-written books created till the 18th century inclusive;

2) all copies of the printing editions issued till 1830 inclusive;
