About modification of some regulations
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova No. 985/2002 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, Art. No. 72-74, 195), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. Add the code with Articles 134-14 and 134 - 15 following contents:
"Article 134-14. Doctor
The doctor in the context of Articles 160, of 161, of 212, of the 213 and 287 of this Code is understood as person conforming to the requirements established in article 4 of the Law on profession of a physician No. 264/2005, including the resident doctor according to article 4-1 of the Law on profession of a physician No. 264/2005.
Article 134-15. Health worker
Under the health worker in the context of part (4) articles 212, of articles 213 and 287 of this Code any other person, except the doctor, the having medical education working in public or private medical and sanitary institution and rendering to the population the medical services determined by the Law of rights and responsibility of the patient No. 263/2005 is understood.".
2. In part disposition (Article 212 of the word of "accomplishment by the health worker" shall be replaced with words 4) "accomplishment by the doctor or health worker".
3. Part disposition (Article 287 to add 2) with Item d) the following content:
"d) concerning the doctor or the health worker in case of execution of service duties by him,".
Art. II. - Article 77-2 of the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (repeated publication: 2017, 100), with subsequent changes to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 78-84, in the following edition:
"Article 77-2. Insult of the doctor or health worker
(1) the Insult of the doctor or health worker, that is intentional humiliation of his honor, advantage or professional reputation in case of execution of service duties by it,
attracts imposing of penalty on physical persons in the amount of 10 to 25 conventional units.
