About modification and amendments in the Law "About Advertising"

Article 1. In article 13.1 of the Law of April 30, 1996 No. ZR-55 "About advertizing":

Shall be replaced with words 1) in the second paragraph of the word "including on the transit sites passing through administrative borders of communities" "except for the transit sites passing through borders of settlements", and to add the same part after the words "in terms" with words "(except for the case provided by the third paragraph of this Article)";

To add 2) with new paragraphs of the following content:

"Provisions of this paragraph do not extend to cases of installation of billboards on the state highways of the Republic of Armenia public (except for the transit roads passing through borders of settlements), and also on right-of-ways of these roads and in the conservation zone when the social advertizing recognized according to the procedure, stipulated in Item 1.2 articles 13 of this Law is established.

In case of replacement of social advertizing with other types of advertizing during reporting quarter issue of permission to advertizing and control of its content exercises (perform) authorized state body (authorized state bodies) of the Republic of Armenia.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective since January 1, 2021.
