About measures for enhancement of management of industrial parks, industrial quarters and agroparks
Being guided by Item 32 of article 109 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, for the purpose of continuation of the economic reforms undertaken in the Azerbaijan Republic, further enhancement of management, and also control mechanisms in the field of the industrial parks existing in the country, industrial quarters and agroparks, increases in efficiency of the measures performed in this sphere, I decide ensuring closer coordination and systemacity:
1. Based on "Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park" Limited liability company in subordination of the Ministry of Economics of the Azerbaijan Republic to create Agency on development of economic zones in the status of the legal entity of the public law in subordination of the Ministry of Economics of the Azerbaijan Republic.
2. Determine that:
2.1. The agency on development of economic zones (further - the Agency) is the legal entity of the public law preparing measures for the organization of activities, development of industrial parks (except for the Balakhansky industrial park), industrial quarters (except for the industrial quarters created in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic) both agroparks and to management of them, providing implementation of these measures, including participating in measures for the state support in this direction;
2.2. for implementation of the common directorship activities of the Agency and control of it create the Supervisory board as a part of 7 (seven) members;
2.3. the current management of activities of the Agency is performed by Board as a part of 5 (five) members;
2.4. 4 (four) members of the Supervisory board are appointed by the Ministry of Economics of the Azerbaijan Republic, and 3 (three) - the following government institutions (on one from each structure):
2.4.1. Ministry of Agriculture of the Azerbaijan Republic;
2.4.2. Azerishyg open joint stock company;
2.4.3. "Melioration and Water Economy of Azerbaijan" open joint stock company.
