About additional measures for the state support of non-state non-profit organizations, ensuring freedom of their activities, protection of the rights and legitimate interests

In the Strategy of actions in 2017 - 2021 development of institutes of civil society, increase in their public and political activity are determined by five priority directions of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan as the main direction of enhancement of the state and public construction.

Now non-state non-profit organizations and other institutes of civil society are important in creation of the democratic constitutional state, ensuring rule of law in society, and also increase in social and political and social and economic capacity of the country.

For the purpose of further increase in role of non-state non-profit organizations as active participants and partners in the reforms performed in the country, strengthenings of protection of their rights and legitimate interests, expansions of scale of the state support, and also creation of favorable conditions by it:

1. Determine that since March 1, 2021:

total amount of the money and property received in one calendar year by non-state non-profit organizations from foreign sources with the notification (for data) registering body increases from twenty to hundred basic settlement sizes;

the term of re-registration of non-state non-profit organization, and also state registration of its symbolics is reduced from one month to fifteen days;

in case of state registration (re-registration) символик public associations of persons with disability, veterans, elderly citizens, women, children the state fee is not collected;

the separate division of non-state non-profit organization is legal entity, at the same time the procedure for registration of separate division is cancelled.

2. Approve the following offers of the Parliamentary commission on management of means of Public fund for support of non-state non-profit organizations and other institutes of civil society under Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - Public fund), and also National association of non-state non-profit organizations of Uzbekistan (further - Association):
