About modification and amendments in the Law "About Consular Service"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on January 19, 2021
Article 1. In the Item "and" of part 1 of article 1 of the Law of May 29, 1996 "About consular service" (further - the Law) the word of "representations" shall be replaced with words No. ZR-61 "bodies of service".
Article 2. Add the law with Article 22.1 of the following content:
"Article 22.1. The head of consular establishment shall issue references in the cases established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia and procedure.".
Article 3. Add the law with Article 22.2 of the following content:
"Article 22.2. References of consular establishments, the procedure for issue and samples of references are approved by the minister developing and performing policy of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the field of foreign affairs if they are not established by other legal acts.".
Article 4. To state heading of Chapter 11 of Section 2 of the Law in the following edition:
"Obligations of the head of consular establishment in the field of civil registration and implementation of the agency of the state register of legal entities".
Article 5. To recognize article 42 of the Law invalid.
Article 6. Add the law with Article 42.1 of the following content:
"Article 42.1. The head of consular establishment according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, adopts the statements of the physical persons and legal entities which are in foreign states concerning functions of the agency of the state register of legal entities of the ministry developing and performing policy of the Government in the field of justice and sets them in motion.".
Article 7. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
Article 8. In three months after entry into force of this Law Government adopts the sublegislative regulation following from this Law.
