The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of the organization of maintaining and development of subsidiary farms.
Operation of this Law does not extend to the relations connected with the parcels of land privatized in accordance with the established procedure which were provided to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for individual housing construction and servicing of the apartment house, and also the parcels of land provided for maintaining Dehkan economy on right of lifetime inheritable possession.
The legislation on subsidiary farm consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
Subsidiary farm is the labor activity connected with cultivation (conversion) of agricultural products both for free trade, and for needs of family on the personal home parcels of land.
The subsidiary farm is not business activity, and state registration of subsidiary farm is not required. Person which is independently performing the activities for cultivation (conversion) of agricultural products based on personal labor participation in subsidiary farm can receive the status of self-employed person according to the procedure, established by the legislation on employment of the population.
The agricultural products which are grown up (processed) on the personal home parcel of land allocated for maintaining subsidiary farm are private property.
The personal home parcel of land is the parcel of land provided for maintaining subsidiary farm for the purpose of cultivation of agricultural products or individual housing construction and improvement of housing.
