About introduction of amendments to the Law "About Auditor Chamber"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on March 3, 2021
Article 1. "About auditor chamber" (further - the Law) to state part 1 of article 17 of the Law of January 16, 2018 to No. ZR-58 in the following edition:
"1. The member of auditor chamber, including the President of Chamber, the citizen who is conforming to requirements imposed to the deputy of National assembly, having the higher education, having qualification of the auditor according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia which has working life of the auditor at least five years, at least, one years from which - working life as the head of the legal entity having the right to provision of auditor services according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, or working life on executive positions in auditor chamber at least five years or working life of the member of auditor chamber at least three years or working life in the financial sphere at least ten years, at least, five of which - as the head, can be elected.".
Article 2. To state part 2 of article 17 of the Law in the following edition:
"2. In 100 days prior to the expiration of continuance in office of the member of auditor chamber the chairman of auditor chamber reports about it in National assembly. In case of early formation of vacancy of the member of auditor chamber the chairman of auditor chamber within five working days reports about it in National assembly. In that case the new member of auditor chamber is elected for the unexpired term of continuance in office of the former member.".
Article 3. To state part 6 of article 34 of the Law in the following edition:
"6. The term of implementation of the procedure of survey and observation in the object specified in the audit engagement is established up to 24 working days, in the course of audit it can be prolonged no more, than for 24 working days the decision of auditor chamber.".
