About enhancement of limit of allowance payment on temporary disability

According to the Program of the targeted support of socially vulnerable segments of the population for 2002-2003 approved by the resolution of Oliy Majlis of December 6, 2001 No. 306-II and based on Article 285 of the Labor code of the Republic of Uzbekistan the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Determine that since March 1, 2002 temporary disability benefits are paid:

to workers from among participants of World War II, to soldiers internationalists and persons equated to them, workers having in the dependence of three and more children who did not reach 16 (pupils-18) of years, to the workers who were taking part in recovery from the accident on the Chernobyl NPP, to the workers evacuated and moved from zones of radioactive pollution as a result of the Chernobyl accident in case of disease of the haematogenic bodies (sharp leukoses), thyroid gland (adenomas, cancer) and malignant tumors, workers with disability from among the persons of retirement age passing military service on nuclear test sites and other radiation and nuclear objects and also in case of temporary disability of the worker owing to labor mutilation and occupational disease - in the amount of complete earnings;

to the workers who are registered on socially important diseases depending on duration of payment of fees by them on the national social insurance (general length of service) - in the amount of 60 to 100 percent of earnings;

in other cases, depending on duration of payment of fees by them on the national social insurance (general length of service) - in the amount of 60 to 80 percent of earnings.

2. To the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with other interested ministries and departments to bring the regulations into accord with this resolution.

3. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azimov R. S.
