About modification of article 9-2 of the Law of Ukraine "About medicines" rather state registration of vaccines or other medical immunobiological supplies under obligations

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Article 9-2 of the Law of Ukraine "About medicines" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1996, No. 22, Art. 86; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of January 29, 2021 No. 1159-IX) to add with part six of the following content:

"6. After state registration of vaccines or other medical immunobiological supplies for specific prevention of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19) under obligations for the emergency medical application the central executive body which provides forming and realizes state policy in the field of health care according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has the right to assume obligations on behalf of Ukraine connected with purchase, application of vaccines or other medical immunobiological supplies for specific prevention of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19) which state registration is performed according to requirements of this Article, including on refusal of sovereign immunity concerning such obligations, and also to discharge of the producer and/or owner of the registration certificate, including their workers, health workers, if application of such vaccines or other medical immunobiological supplies was performed according to the instruction approved by the central executive body of Ukraine which provides forming and realizes state policy in the field of health care, and other persons involved in holding the actions connected with vaccination for any effects caused by application of such vaccines or other medical immunobiological supplies for specific prevention of koronavirusny disease (COVID-19).

In case of approach of such effects by the state implementation of the corresponding compensation payments according to the procedure, established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is provided".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day, and is effective within four years.
