About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About complete general secondary education" concerning expansion of opportunities for transformation of educational network and protection of the rights of participants of educational process

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About complete general secondary education" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2020, No. 31, the Art. 226, No. 48, the Art. 431) the following changes:

1. The second Article 32 to add part with the paragraph third the following content:

"Reorganization and liquidation of special facilities of general secondary education are allowed only after approval of the draft of the relevant decision of the founder by the central executive body in the field of science and education".

2. To state the subitem 8 of Item 3 of the Section X "Final and transitional provisions" in the following edition:

"8) till July 1, 2022 founders of sanatorium schools (sanatorium boarding schools) shall after approval of the draft of the relevant decision of the founder by the central executive body in the field of science and education change type of such organizations of education to one of types of organizations of general secondary education which are provided by this Law, or to stop such organizations of education by their reorganization or liquidation. The property of the reorganized or liquidated sanatorium schools (boarding schools) is used only for ensuring obtaining by children and/or youth of education, rendering services to them in the field of social protection, culture, sport and/or health care, including on the principles of public-private partnership with observance of provisions of article 61 of this Law and articles 80 and 81 of the Law of Ukraine "About education".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within three months from the date of entry into force of this Law to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law.
