About selection and seed farming of agricultural plants

This Law determines legal and organizational basis of creation of grades of the plants applied in agricultural industry, productions and uses of their seeds for the purpose of ensuring food security of the Republic of Belarus.
In this Law the following main terms and their determinations are used:
approbation of agricultural plants - inspection of agricultural plants, their crops (landings) for determination of high-quality qualities of seeds of agricultural plants, contaminations of crops (landings) of agricultural plants weed and other plants, extents of defeat by diseases and damages by wreckers of agricultural plants;
the state register of producers of seeds of agricultural plants - the list of information about producers of original and elite seeds of agricultural plants;
the state register of grades of agricultural plants - the list of the agricultural plants this about the grades which passed the state test of grades of agricultural plants which seeds are allowed to realization in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, and also to production, use in the territory of the areas of the Republic of Belarus specified in this register;
soil control of agricultural plants - method of determination of high-quality purity of seeds of agricultural plants by means of crops (landing) of seeds of agricultural plants on special sites;
completion of seeds of agricultural plants - the complex of works on drying, sorting, calibration and cleaning of seeds of agricultural plants performed by the producer of seeds of agricultural plants for the purpose of ensuring production of seeds of agricultural plants with the best high-quality and sowing qualities;
use of seeds of agricultural plants - crops (landing) of seeds of agricultural plants for cultivation of agricultural plants;
