About introduction of amendments to article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "About the state awards of Ukraine"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "About the state awards of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 21, Art. 162; 2001, No. 33, Art. 173; 2006, No. 45, Art. 442) following changes:

1. The first and fifth Item 2 to state paragraphs in the following edition:

"2) the National award of Ukraine of Boris Patton";

"for creation of textbooks for organizations of general secondary education, professional (professional) education, professional prehigher education, the higher education which meet the modern requirements and promote effective development of knowledge, significantly influence improvement of training of future specialists".

2. The fourth Item 5 to state the paragraph in the following edition:

"professional (professional) education, professional prehigher education".

II. Final and transitional provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. Persons awarded with the State prize of Ukraine in science and technology before entry into force of this Law have the rights and obligations of persons awarded with the National prize of Ukraine of Boris Patton.

3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in three-months time from the date of entry into force of this Law:

provide offers on reduction of acts of the President to compliance with this Law;

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
