About modification of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine concerning enhancement of separate provisions in connection with implementation of special pre-judicial investigation
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Bring in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, Art. No. No. 9-13, 88) the following changes:
1. In paragraph six of part one of Article 34 of the word of "conducting anti-terrorist operation" shall be replaced with words "conducting anti-terrorist operation or implementation of actions for ensuring national security and defense, repulse and control of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions".
2. To add article 135 after part seven with new part of such content:
"8. The agenda about challenge of person concerning which there are good causes to believe that such person left and/or is in temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, the territory of the state recognized by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the state aggressor in case of reasonable impossibility of delivery to it such agenda according to parts one, the second, fourth - the seventh this Article, is published in mass media of nation-wide distribution sphere and on the official website of Office of the Attorney-General.
Person specified in paragraph one of this part is considered properly notified on challenge, from the moment of publication of the agenda about its challenge in mass media of nation-wide distribution sphere and on the official website of Office of the Attorney-General.
In case of availability at the face specified in paragraph one of this part of the defender (defenders) the copy of the agenda about challenge goes to the defender (defenders)".
