About measures for further enhancement of system of preparation of professional personnel in the field of ensuring public safety

For the purpose of enhancement of system of training of highly qualified specialists in the field of fight against crime and the prevention of any threats to peace and to tranquility of our country on the basis of the advanced international standards, and also increase in personnel capacity of law enforcement agencies and Armed Forces proceeding from modern requirements:

1. Transform Military and technical institute of National guard to University of public safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - University).

Determine University the basic highest military educational and the research establishment performing target training of qualified personnel for:

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and National guard - in the field of ensuring public safety in the directions of protection of public order, implementation of safety requirements of traffic and passport system respectively;

Armed forces and other law enforcement agencies - in the field of military diplomacy, law, economy, technical, educational and psychological and command and tactical activities;

the state bodies and bodies of economic board having the security structures - in all directions of the organization and implementation of security activities.

2. Determine the main objectives and activities of University:

target training of the qualified specialists capable it is effective to organize activities for ensuring public safety, by means of profound training in the corresponding profile and legal directions, implementation of their combat and physical training;

profound training for Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies by implementation of effective system of spiritual and moral education, forming at them legal culture, patriotic and high moral qualities;
