About measures for the organization of the special industrial zone "Special Industrial Hub of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Equipment"

For the purpose of further deepening of reforms on development of mechanical engineering and the electrotechnical industry, full establishing processes of conversion of local raw material resources, productions of products, import-substituting, competitive in the export markets, creations of the favorable investment climate, and also contributing to implementation of high-technology and modern investment projects, the organization of new workplaces and growth in prosperity of the population of the region:

1. Approve the offer of khokimiyat of the Andijan region, the Ministry of investments and foreign trade, the Ministry of Economic Development and reducing poverty on creation on land area in 105 hectares in the territory of the Andijan region of "Industrial hub of mechanical engineering and electrical equipment" (further - the Industrial hub) in the form of the special industrial zone.

2. Determine the main objectives and activities of the Industrial hub:

attraction of direct foreign and domestic investments for production demanded in the foreign markets and import-substituting products of mechanical engineering and the electrotechnical industry with high value added;

ensuring complex and effective use of potential and resource production of mechanical engineering and electrotechnical industry of area;

deepening of processes of localization of production of high-technology products of mechanical engineering and the electrotechnical industry based on local raw materials and materials by establishment of strong cooperation bonds, development of industrial cooperation between members of the special industrial zone and in general on the republic;

expansion of production and increase in export volume of products of mechanical engineering and the electrotechnical industry on the basis of effective use of potential and resource production of area.

3. Determine that:

the term of functioning of the Industrial hub constitutes 30 years with possibility of its subsequent prolongation;
