1. Form the Uzbek technical regulation agency under the Ministry of investments and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - technical regulation Agency) based on the Uzbek agency of standardization, metrology and certification.

2. Determine that technical regulation Agency:

is republican state body on realization of state policy in the field of technical regulation and metrology;

has the right to adopt obligatory regulatory legal acts within the competence.

3. Establish procedure according to which:

receipt of the certificate of conformity on the food and agricultural products requiring without fail receipt of the sanitary and epidemiologic conclusion is performed on voluntary basis. At the same time manufacturers (producers), suppliers and sellers of these products are responsible for ensuring its compliance to the mandatory requirements established by technical regulations and standards;

since September 1, 2021 assessment of conformity of separate types of products with low risk level is carried out by declaring of compliance. At the same time declaring of compliance is carried out without issue of the certificate of conformity based on the test reports constituted by results of positive testing after carrying out full testing of products on the basis of requirements of the technical regulation;
