For the purpose of providing ecological safety, strengthening of environmental measures and decrease in climate risks, according to the Presidential decree of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic" of May 5, 2021 114, articles 10 and 17 of the constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decides No.:

1. Form:

1) the State committee on ecology and climate of the Kyrgyz Republic based on the State agency of environmental protection under the Ministry of emergency situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, with transfer of function:

- in the field of ecology, environmental protection and environmental control, including radiation and chemical, - from the Ministry of emergency situations of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- coordination of work on accomplishment of obligations according to the Framework convention of the United Nations on climate change - from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- National authorized body in Green climatic fund - from the Ministry of Economics and finance of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- collections of payment for use of natural resources and environmental pollution, and also control of expenditure of funds for the nature protection purposes; accounting, regulation of objects of animal and flora; implementation of the Convention on international trade in the types of wild fauna and flora which are under the threat of disappearance (CITES), CITES Administrative authority; coordination in the field of preserving and rational use of biological diversity, hunting and hunting economy; the state control of pollution of land and water resources - from the Ministry of agricultural, forest and water economy of the Kyrgyz Republic;

2) Department of preserving biodiversity and especially protected natural territories under the State committee on ecology and climate of the Kyrgyz Republic;
