About introduction of amendments to the Water code of the Russian Federation and article 5 of the Federal law "About Enforcement of the Water Code of the Russian Federation"

Article 1

Bring in the Water code of the Russian Federation (The Russian Federation Code, 2006, No. 23, Art. 2381; 2015, No. 1, Art. 12; No. 29, Art. 4370; 2017, No. 31, Art. 4757) following changes:

Item 4 of part 2 of Article 5 to add 1) with words "(low-lying, transitional, riding)";

Part 4 of Article 11 to add 2) with Item 2.2 of the following content:

"2. 2) use of swamps for the purpose of exploration and production of minerals (except for the swamps located in borders of wetlands);";

Article 52 to state 3) in the following edition:

"Article 52. Use of water objects for the purpose of implementation of geological studying of subsoil, exploration and production of minerals

1. Use of water objects for the purpose of exploration and production of minerals is performed according to this Code and the legislation on subsoil.

2. Use of the swamps located in borders of lands of forest fund for the purpose of implementation of geological studying of subsoil, exploration and production of minerals is performed according to the forest legislation and the legislation on subsoil.";

Article 57 to state 4) in the following edition:

"Article 57. Protection of swamps from pollution and contamination

1. Pollution and contamination of swamps production wastes and consumption, pollution by their oil products and other pollutants, and also pesticides are prohibited.

2. Drainage or other use of swamps or their parts shall not lead to deterioration in condition of not used parts of these swamps, other water objects and to depletion of waters.
