About modification of some Orders of the Government

Based on Items and) and c) parts (2) articles II of the Law No. 211/2020 on introduction of amendments to the Law No. 411/1995 on health protection (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2020, Art. No. 329-331, 211) DECIDES: the Government

1. Item 11 of the Regulations on procedure for creation of funds of the compulsory medical insurance and management of them approved by the Order of the Government No. 594/2002 (2002, Art. No. 66-68, 691), with subsequent changes, after the paragraph "communitarian medical care and home care" to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with the paragraph of the following content:

"palliative care;".

2. In the Single program of compulsory medical insurance approved by the Order of the Government No. 1387/2007 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, Art. No. 198-202, 1443), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1) in Item 6:

the subitem f) to state in the following edition:

"f) communitarian medical care and home care;";

add with the subitem g) the following content:

"g) palliative care.";

Item 33 to state 2) in the following edition:

"33. Beneficiaries of medical care are persons having chronic diseases and/or the transferred volume surgical interventions, and geriatric patients who have certain degree of dependence and limited opportunities which do difficult visit of the supplier of medical services at home.";

To add 3) with Section 6-1 of the following content:

"Section 6-1 Palliative care

36-2. Palliative care represents rendering medical services for active and complex support of patients whose disease will not respond to treatment any more.

36-3. Services of palliative care are provided by the suppliers of medical services authorized for provision of the corresponding types of service, irrespective of type of property and form of business, according to the procedure, established by regulations.
