About measures for cardinal enhancement of system of quarantine and protection of plants in the republic

For the purpose of further enhancement of management system quarantine and protection of plants, ensuring phytosanitary and food security, complete transfer to private sector of system of supply of mineral fertilizers and chemical means and rendering services, increases in competitiveness of domestic agricultural production in the foreign markets and building-ups of the export potential of the country, and also improvement of quality of mineral fertilizers and agrochemical services:

1. Form the Agency on quarantine and protection of plants of the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the State inspectorate for quarantine of plants under the Cabinet of Ministers.

2. Agree with offers of the Ministry of Economic Development and reducing poverty, the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance, Antimonopoly Committee, State Tax Committee, Agency on management of the state assets, shareholders of JSC Uzagrokimyokhimoya and territorial JSC Agrokimyokhimoya, providing:

liquidation of JSC Uzagrokimyokhimoya and territorial JSC Agrokimyokhimoya;

abolition of State commission on carrying out testing and registration of means of chemicalixation and protection of plants under the Ministry of Agriculture.

4. Ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 10.11.2023 No. UP-193
