About entering of amendment into the Law "About the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia"

Article 1. No. ZR-69 "About the Central bank of the Republic of Armenia" to add the law of June 30, 1996 with Article 35.1 of the following content:

"Article 35.1. Centralized register of bank accounts

1. Central Bank for the purpose of implementation of the purposes and functions established by this Law, and also increase in efficiency of cooperation with interstate competent authorities according to the procedure, established by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About bank secrecy", keeps the centralized register of bank accounts in which all commercial banks operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia surely participate.

2. The centralized register of bank accounts includes data about opened, closed (including closed within five years preceding entry into force of this Article) bank accounts, and also about the safety-deposit boxes provided and with the stopped use (including use of which is stopped within five years preceding the date of entry into force of this Article), in particular, bank account number of the client of bank, date of opening and closing of the bank account, provision and termination of use of safety-deposit box, identification data of the document of the client and person authorized by the client issued by competent state body and also data on bank.

3. The procedure for maintaining the centralized register of bank accounts, the list of the identification data of the document issued by competent state body which are subject to inclusion and data on bank, and also form and terms of provision of the data provided by part 2 of this Article (including reports), are established by the decision of Council of the Central bank.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
