About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the Supreme judicial council of the Republic of Uzbekistan"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 6, 2017 No. ZRU-427 "About the Supreme judicial council of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2017, No. 4, Art. 135; 2019, No. 9, Art. 591; 2020, No. 11, Art. 652; 2021, appendix to No. 4) following changes and amendments:
1) in Article 5:
to exclude from part one of the word of "law enforcement agencies";
third to state part in the following edition:
"The vice-chairman of Council is appointed the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan";
to exclude from part five of the word of "law enforcement agencies";
the sixth and seventh to state parts in the following edition:
"The chairman, the vice-chairman, the secretary and eleven members of council approved from among judges perform the activities on permanent basis, other seven members of council perform the activities on a voluntary basis.
Eleven members of council approved from among judges and performing the activities on permanent basis are elected by Council for representation of its chairman in structures of the sector and Judicial inspectorate for ensuring immunity of judges and to the prevention of corruption, including to positions of heads of data of divisions";

"The main objectives of Council are:
forming of the judicial case by competitive selection, preparation, appointment of candidates for judicial positions from among the most qualified and responsible specialists, and also making the recommendation for promotion to the leading judicial positions;
taking measures to prevention of violation of immunity of judges and effective protection of their activities for administration of law against any intervention;
