About additional measures for further enhancement of activities of diplomatic representations of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad

In the conditions of the proceeding long crisis phenomena in world economy, instability of the prices and declines in demand in the international and regional markets relevance acquire questions of further increase and effective realization of export and investment potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan as the most important priority of foreign policy strategy of the country.

The analysis of activities of diplomatic representations of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad confirms insufficiency of the taken measures for promotion of economic interests of the Republic of Uzbekistan in relations with the partner states.

Diplomatic representations of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad do not deal on system and permanent basis with issues of development of trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries, deeply do not study tendencies and dynamics of development of the world and regional markets and possibility of contact to them of domestic goods and services, do not look for reserves and new sources for attraction to the country of advanced technologies, direct foreign investments, soft credits, grants and means of technical assistance, and also growth of mutual trade, first of all, of export deliveries of domestic goods and services.

For the purpose of ensuring cardinal sustainable development and expansion of trade and economic, investment, technological, financial and technical and scientific and educational cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with foreign countries:

1. Determine the most important tasks of diplomatic representations of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad in the field of foreign economic activity:

realization of the external economic rate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, protection and promotion of economic interests of the country, and also the rights and legitimate interests of participants of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan in foreign countries;
