About measures for support of domestic manufacturers of medicines and products of medical appointment
For the purpose of forming of competitive environment in the intra republican market of medicines and products of medical appointment, more complete requirements satisfaction of the population in competitive domestic medicines and medical products:
1. Exempt since July 1, 2006 for up to January 1, 2009 from the tax discharge on value added the medicines and products of medical appointment, and also raw materials and the materials delivered by them for self-produced medicines and products of medical appointment made and realized by domestic manufacturers.
2. Establish procedure in case of which the customs duties on the raw materials and materials delivered by producers for production of medicines and products of medical appointment are paid no later than 60 days after customs clearance.
3. To the Ministry of Economics, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trades, the State Customs Committee together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and SAC Uzfarmsanoat to approve in a month the List of raw materials and materials when which importing the privileges established by this resolution are applied.
4. To the State Tax Committee, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish tough control of target use of raw materials and materials when which importing the privileges established by this resolution are applied.
In case of the inappropriate use of raw materials and materials delivered for self-produced medicines and products of medical appointment, tax amount on value added and the income from realization of raw materials and materials are collected in the budget taking into account imposing of the corresponding sanctions according to the procedure, established by the legislation.
