About entering of amendments and changes into the Law of Turkmenistan "About ecological safety"

I. Bring in the Law of Turkmenistan "About ecological safety" of June 3, 2017 (Sheets of Majlis of Turkmenistan, 2017, No. 2, Art. 72; 2019, No. 1, Art. 14) following amendments and changes:

To add 1) after Article 27 with the name of new Chapter:

"Chapter VI-1. Zones of emergency ecological situation and zone of ecological catastrophe";

Articles 28 and 29 to carry 2) to Chapter VI-1;

The name of Article 28 to state 3) in the following edition:

"Announcement of the territories zones of emergency ecological situation or zones of ecological catastrophe";

To add 4) after Article 29 with Articles of the following content:

"Article 29-1. Monitoring of ecological condition in zones of emergency ecological situation and zones of ecological catastrophe

1. Monitoring of ecological condition in zones of emergency ecological situation and zones of ecological catastrophe includes special observations and the corresponding researches of state of environment and health of the population.

2. In zones of emergency ecological situation and zones of ecological catastrophe treat objects of monitoring of ecological condition:

1) the factors which led to emergence of emergency ecological situations and ecological disasters;

2) negative changes of state of environment and health of the population in the territory of zone of emergency ecological situation or zone of ecological catastrophe, and also in the territories adjoining to them, including quality of atmospheric air, surface and underground water, soils, radiological indicators and biological diversity.

Article 29-2. Carrying out research work in zones of emergency ecological situation and zones of ecological catastrophe

Nauchnoyo-issledovatelsky work in zones of emergency ecological situation and zones of ecological catastrophe can be carried out to areas:

1) scientific assessment of results of negative impact of economic and other activity on the environment;

2) estimates of forecasts in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations in zones of emergency ecological situation;
