About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning reduction of the legislation of Ukraine in the field of providing with baby food in compliance with requirements of the European Union law

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. Article 61 of Bases of the legislation of Ukraine about health care (Sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 4, Art. 19, No. 15, Art. 132; 2014, 41) to state Art. No. 2-3, in the following edition:

"Article 61. Baby food

The state provides children under three years with baby food which conforms to requirements of the legislation on safety and separate indicators of quality of foodstuff, according to the Law of Ukraine "About child care".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About child care" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, No. 30, Art. 142 with subsequent changes):

Article 1 after the paragraph of the sixteenth to add 1) with the new paragraph of the following content:

"children who have the right to free or preferential providing with baby food, children of chest age and the second year of life who are part of needy families, the children of chest and early age having the status of the child who was injured owing to military operations and armed conflicts or from among internally displaced persons or children from among persons determined in article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection".

With respect thereto the seventeenth - the twenty first to consider paragraphs respectively paragraphs the eighteenth - the twenty second;

2) in Article 4:

the fourth after the words "child cares" to add the paragraph with words of "support of production of baby food, including primary production";
