About measures for radical enhancement of system of preparation of engineering personnel for economy industries on the basis of innovations and digitalization

In recent years effective adjustment of transfer of education, research and development in such important directions as effective use of restricted stocks of water resources, recovery of biofund of agricultural holdings, return to turnover of the salted and bald-headed areas, preserving biological diversity of ecosystems, and also "green power" and agrotechnologies is required.

In the solution of such current global challenges priority value is found by questions of expansion of investments and scientific research, removal of scientific potential on new level by means of widespread introduction of digital technologies, and also training of the highly qualified specialists capable to put scientific developments into practice.

For the purpose of creation of system of support of transfer of innovative education and technologies in the republic, integration of education and production, radical enhancement of activities, increase in the international status and the organization of effective management system of the highest educational institutions, and also consecutive ensuring realization of the tasks determined in the Republic of Uzbekistan approved by the Presidential decree of October 8, 2019 No. UP-5847 of the Concept of development of system of the higher education of the Republic of Uzbekistan till 2030:

1. Rename the Tashkent institute of engineers of irrigation and mechanization of agricultural industry into National research university "Tashkent Institute of Engineers of Irrigation and Mechanization of Agricultural Industry" (further - University).

2. Determine the main activities of University:

preparation of engineering personnel with the higher education for industries: hydropower, management of irrigational systems, construction of facilities of water economy, inventory and geoinformatics, "green economy", "green power", ecology and environmental protection, agricultural mechanical engineering, digital technologies;
